We don’t need hours and hours to prepare a good dish for dinner, especially when it comes to quick and easy recipes like the one we want to offer you for tonight’s dinner. In fact, we will need a few ingredients to bring to the table a colorful, tasty dish that is prepared in a few minutes. Simple and super tasty, no one will be able to resist it!
Diced sausage and pepperstogether with stale bread ingredients:
- Stale bread
- Garlic and olive oil
- Peppers Sausage
- Olives and capers
- Salt (optional)
Procedure
First we put the bread to soak in water for about ten minutes, the time to soften. In the meantime, wash and clean the peppers by removing the stalk, seeds and filaments and cut them into cubes. In a pan we fry garlic and oil and then drop the peppers inside, let it cook. We add pitted olives and capers, so we pay attention to the amount of salt we are going to add considering that the capers are already quite salty. Aside in a pan, cook our sausages with a drizzle of oil and garlic. As soon as the sausages are cooked, cut them into slices and add them to the peppers. We squeeze the bread well, removing all the water and crumble it inside the pan, leaving it on the stove for about 15 minutes, raising the flame slightly. Transfer everything to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, and bake for 5-7 minutes so that the bread becomes crunchy.
